Day 309

We went out for dinner tonight for my cousin Bridgid's 30th birthday and on the way home our first snow of the season began to fall... and quickly!!

Day 308

I spent my afternoon curled up in the travel corner of a local bookshop... lots of inspiration can come from these books!

Day 307

A bit of Hudson shopping with mom! Found this gem of a boutique and enjoyed trying on loads of jewelery with a few ladies also out shopping.

Day 306

Dad and I made the best of the nice (and slightly chilly) weather today by going for a bike ride through the very private Signature golf course.

I later found this familiar wine at Miles Farmer's Market... such joy.

Day 305

Snapped this beautiful sky on my way to work today...

Day 304

Another day of chilly sunshine. I had to air out my tent from camping 2 weeks ago (and sweep all of the dried mud out of the inside) so I bravely set the tent up by myself in our front yard today (not an easy task).

Day 303

Happy Halloween! We waited until the last minute to carve our pumpkins (oops) but I carved a ghost into one.

And a bat into my other (which was originally dad's but he opted out). Mom went pretty far out with the intricate BOO ghost that looked awesome. Many compliments from the (sparce) trick-or-treaters.

Day 302

A very chilly 30 mile bike ride in the Rocky River Metroparks today.

Day 301

Halloween is approaching and mom put the decorations out.

Day 300

WOW I cannot believe I made it to 300 days. Impressive.

Today, mom and I went shopping for pumpkins and gourds...

... and walking into Petitti's garden center to find Christmas hell! It's not even NOVEMBER!!!

Day 299

Blustery day followed by a beautiful one! Dad and I went for a windy bike ride in Stow.

Day 298

A rainy, blustery day at Legacy (shopping centre).

Day 297

My new yoga studio in Chagrin Falls... I LOVE!

Day 296

We went to the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (you're welcome world for the gift of flight courtesy of the Ohio-born Wright brothers) to see the old USAF fighter and carrier planes. It was HUGE and full of old WWI, WWII, Korean War, etc planes.

On our way out of the museum I spotted this in the parking lot... sometimes I am embarassed of how ignorant my country can be. You don't have to love or support our President, but this is unnecessary.

Day 295

On the road again to visit Eric in Dayton for his 22nd birthday. Just hanging at the hotel before dinner at The Pine Club (a delicious steakhouse on campus).

Day 294

Happy Birthday Dad! (Preparations for the delicious stir fry I made for his birthday dinner...)

Day 293

Even in autumn you can find some pretty beautiful flowers around...

Day 292

A cozy fire.

Day 291

The pumpkins are out at the shops and ready to be carved! (And it's getting COLD brrr)

Day 290

Just stopped by to visit my favorite children... hanging with madi and em after school.

Day 289

The crew on Matt & Elizabeth's land before making the trek home...
L-R (back) Matt, Kevin, Brian, Kid, Megan
(front) Me, Mo, Patrick, Elizabeth

Leaving our signatures on the house...

PIGSY!

Day 288

(Bridge Day Festival- hundreds of base jumpers jumped from the New River Gorge bridge today)

(Megan, Patrick, me, Elizabeth at the festival)

(Mo, hiking in Summersville, WV at sunset)

(Campfire hangouts!)

A series of photos from the weekend... the festival, games of mata (an italian card game taught to us by Kevin and Megan in Switzerland), hikes, and the campfire hangouts. It was amazing!

Day 287

Day 1 of Gryon reunion!! Brian and Mo arrived the night before from to Chicago to Cleveland and we spent the night sharing old memories... today was spent driving to Summersville, WV where Matt and Elizabeth have bought land and are building a house. They invited those stateside for a reunion and campout on the land for visits and to attend the Bridge Day festival at the New River Gorge. It's so good to see old friends (and KID!).
